We have developed and implemented a Sustainability Management System that helps us understand our material issues and opportunities, which naturally bleeds into client work, enabling us to take targeted action and communicate our progress with clarity, transparency, and authenticity.
This is also supported by our BOSS app.
We use the Responsible Client Decision Tree, a practical tool that supports our sustainability strategy and enables us to have difficult conversations internally and with prospective clients. It helps us assess the risk and opportunity associated with the clients we work with and the work we do. If we get a whiff of greenwashing from a client, we will cut ties!
We use Syntiro's PFPC metric to measure our potential impact on an event, campaign, or project. This metric helps us identify and quantify the positive change we can create across people, planet, and profit.
Sustainability is more than just the planet… we prioritise accessibility testing to ensure that our websites and digital platforms are usable for as many people as possible. This testing process evaluates the design, functionality, and content of our websites to identify and address any barriers that might prevent people with disabilities from accessing and using them effectively.
We have a dedicated Head of Innovation here at DRPG. Not only do we keep ahead of the game in terms of tech innovation but also innovations in accessibility in events. For example, our work with Holoplot allows us to install special beamforming audio arrays to pinpoint sound to different locations, making it easier for individuals with conditions like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia to participate in events and activities.
We actively collaborate with industry organisations, trade bodies, and educational establishments to share knowledge, promote sustainable practices, and drive collaboration. This includes supporting initiatives like EVCOM, ICE, and United by 2022, as well as attending events and forums to share our expertise and inspire others to take action.
