RS Components needed an interactive and vibrant stand for the Engineering Design Show- the UK’s essential event for engineering, electronics and embedded design. As headline sponsors and the world's leading distributor of electronics and serve over 1 million customers globally - their stand had to exemplify the company as the innovative leaders in engineering. We provided a theme that not only encouraged people to find out more but one that also had a touch of personality; a 1950’s Diner serving copious amounts of engineering rather than burgers and milkshakes.
The stand incorporated interactive touch screens with links to the internet that led straight to RS Design Spark software, internet stations that were connected via a LAN network to online brochures, as well as showcasing products such as a 3D printer, and finally there was a miniature greenhouse in the stand to raise the profile of their ‘hero’ projects. The quirky stand included a dining area, a bar and bar stools with plenty of space to walk around and interact with the stand.
