The drpgroup has picked up its first awards of the new season as both the C&IT Excellence Awards and the IOIC Awards announced their winners. The drpgroups work with ENRC won C&ITs Best International Conference prize while a project with Chiltern Railways won both the Best Teambuilding award and the Most Effective Use of a Small Budget category. The ENRC 150 Group conference also picked up a highly commended award from C&IT in the Best Teambuilding category. Over at the IOIC Awards, Sainsburys Paralympics Colleague Activation programme picked up the prestigious Award for Single Campaign.
The IOIC prize saw Sainsburys rewarded for their exceptional work throughout the Paralympics. Judges recognised the huge logistical challenges the project faced, coordinating 5,000 colleagues inside the Olympic Park as well as the massive engagement campaign which ran throughout the Torch Relay and Paralympics Flame Festivals. ENRC impressed the C&IT judges by producing an excellent business case for a brand new international event while Chilterns results on a tight budget were hard to ignore.
Callum Gill, marketing manager at drpgroup, who also presented an award at the C&IT ceremony, commented on the groups excellent performance, It was a good night for the drpteam who worked tirelessly to make these projects a success. Each one came with its own challenges but as these awards demonstrate, they were highly effective and expertly delivered. A huge debt of thanks also goes to our clients whose own commitment to the projects ensured their success and ultimately their recognition at these two ceremonies.
