JCB Success

The drpgroup has delivered one of the longest running events we have worked on in partnership with our clients JCB. The event saw over 3000 of JCB’s worldwide dealers and customers come together in the UK for a unique event, to experience one of the world’s leading brands in construction and agricultural machinery.

Working closely with the JCB marketing and events team, we provided global delegate communications and logistics, while developing innovative engaging activities, demonstrations, presentations and live shows that reflected the JCB products’ advanced innovative capabilities. The delegate experience commenced with multilingual online communications that successfully created a high level of interest and subsequent delegate registrations. The events ran continually throughout April and May, with a new audience of around 200 guests arriving every three days to receive a brand reflective level of service and live product experience like never before.

Adrian Hall, Worldwide Events Manager at JCB Ltd commented: “Following an in depth selection process, the drpgroup was confirmed as the Events Company of choice to assist with the delivery of JCB's Worldwide Dealer Conference. The drpgroup demonstrated that they could offer a full turnkey solution in terms of creative design, logistics & Project management. Their whole team worked seamlessly with JCB's own event team to deliver a world class event."

Jane Jones, drpgroup’s project management director said, “Having the opportunity of working with such an iconic brand whose passion for their product and heritage, along with a culture of inclusivity that's perfectly aligned to ourselves, has been fantastic.  The project required all aspects of our product offering; giving JCB the opportunities of experiencing a truly integrated service from an agency known for making anything possible for their clients.  We hope to continue our close working relationship with JCB in the future.”

Logistically and technically the event was both unique and challenging.  Over the complete 16 week period on site the drpgroup installed and supplied 5230sqm of temporary structures, 4 miles of cable, 578 production lights, 294m of truss, 125sqm of LED walling and 28,000 watts of sound, and working hand in hand with the JCB events and demonstration team, the event was successfully delivered by a logistics and production team of over 80 people.
