Our Team Is Growing

The drpgroup team has rapidly expanded in the first quarter of 2013 to help bolster all areas of our business. Following the groups move into our new head offices, we have increased space, our technological capabilities and our delivery capacity. The next logical step was to recruit staff across all divisions and experience levels to maintain our excellent levels of delivery and expand our resources for the future.

New team members join the group in project management, technical services, digital media, design & print, video, business support and sales & marketing. As well as bringing in experienced industry professionals in senior roles with the events and video teams, we have also launched our 2013 apprenticeship programme which we run internally as well as in conjunction with local schools and colleges. This year alone we have taken on four new apprentices and so far, three have gone on to take up full time positions with the group with the fourth still currently on their apprenticeship period.

The group currently has a further ten positions available while over the next few years, the group plans to grow its team to the 200 mark. Managing director Dale Parmenter said that while 2012 was a challenging year, the next two years were looking positive.

He said: 2013 we see as being a very busy and exciting year, we expect it to be a record year. We are around 40 per cent ahead of this time last year in terms of our revenue and we've seen a considerable increase in new clients, while retaining our existing ones.

"We are recruiting through necessity to meet the demand from existing and new clients. Although 2012 was a challenging year, we had great involvement with the Olympics. However, budgets were stretched. We also found many corporate projects were postponed or cancelled because of the Olympics. What gave us the confidence to invest in new people and the business was the knowledge that 2012 was a 'one off' and all the signs were pointing to a great 2013/14/15."The drpgroup team has rapidly expanded in the first quarter of 2013 to help bolster all areas of our business.
