drpbigtalk returned for a third successive year, again held at our Midlands HQ, on Thursday 27th September 2018.
Over 100 of our clients from a diverse range of sectors attended the event which included keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions, and an evening of entertainment. As always, the aim of drpbigtalk is to ensure our clients are kept up to speed and knowledgeable in the rapidly evolving industry, that is, communications.
The day was hosted by TV presenter and journalist Helen Fospero. And after a spectacular opening to the event, Helen introduced keynote presenter Steve Cockram to the stage, who took delegates through his globally-recognised ‘Five Voices’ programme.
Delegates then had the opportunity to attend four breakout sessions which delved deeper into hot topics that form the world of communications, such as social media, branding and new technologies.
We created the drptalk brand to help our clients understand what’s happening in our industry and give them the chance to interact and engage with key thought-leaders.
In the evening, attendees were treated to a locally and
sustainably-sourced dinner from a local cookery school and a
fascinating, yet, slightly scary, talk from Jenny Radcliffe – aka The
People Hacker. The talk included anecdotes from a career helping global
organisations keep safe and secure, online and offline.
His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester, visited our studies to
explore our company culture and see, first hand, the work we provide for
Dale Parmenter, drp CEO commented, “It was a
brilliant day and evening. The quality of the content, interaction and
networking was fantastic. We created the drptalk brand to help our
clients understand what’s happening in our industry and give them the
chance to interact and engage with key thought-leaders. The feedback has
been amazing and we’re already looking forward to drpbigtalk 2019.”
