We have recently taken on board a new learning and development manager. Jez Light has taken on the newly-created role and will be responsible for driving and implementing existing and new learning strategies and initiatives across the business.
With significant growth over the last 12 months, the provision of learning programmes has become vital. Jez will provide training that benefits the team in professional and personal contexts.
Jez will work closely with the board and the marketing team to consolidate and improve our culture of learning. This will make us an even more appealing place to work and help the team provide better services for our clients.
Before joining drp, Jez worked in a number of roles in learning and development and human resources. These covered industries such as the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors, including fashion brand Supderdry, where he implemented a number of successful initiatives.
In 2017, Jez also collected a CIPD Best Training Award.
We are passionate about talent, and ensuring every team member receives the best training and development is a top priority.
Jez says: “My belief is that learning is way more effective when it’s fun and memorable and hits the right spot. So, I’m looking forward to getting settled in and making progress towards this for everyone across drp.”
Dale Parmenter, CEO at drp, says: “We are passionate about talent, and ensuring every team member receives the best training and development is a top priority. Having Jez on board has facilitated this vision, and we are looking forward to seeing what he will bring to the business.”
