We’re proud to announce our support for the new upcoming art project, Worcester Stands Tall, which will be kicking off in Worcester this Summer.
The art project will see the streets of Worcester taken over by 28 decorated and colourful giraffe sculptures, all designed and sponsored by local organisations, including ourselves. When the project comes to an end, each sculpture will be auctioned to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal which is aiming to raise the final £1.4m needed to build a bigger hospice, enabling more patients and families to be cared for in Worcestershire.
The auction event taking place in October will be held at our Worcester based HQ studios, which is looking to be a fantastic fundraising event for the local community.
During the trail there will also be a display of 25 smaller giraffe calves, decorated by school children, on show in the local shopping centre.
We are delighted drp is involved as an official supplier with our project. It’s going to be great working with such an innovative agency and we’re excited to see what the partnership brings this year.
Dale Parmenter, drp CEO, commented: “This is such a fantastic fundraising event and a brilliant cause, we are very proud to be a part of it and look forward to having a lot of fun with the project.”
Sara Matthews, Worcester Stands Tall project manager, commented: “We are delighted drp is involved as an official supplier with our project. It’s going to be great working with such an innovative agency and we’re excited to see what the partnership brings this year. We just know the auction event will be a night to remember and we’re looking forward to raising as much money as we can for the hospice’s appeal.”
