MIMA Awards 2015
The drpteam were out in force at the 14th annual Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) on Friday 9th October held at the QEII centre, going home with the bronze award for ‘best integrated marketing campaign’. drpvideo were also the main sponsors of the ‘Best use of video marketing’ with the awards being presented to the Gleneagles Hotel, Failte Ireland and Zurich Tourism.
drp went home with the bronze for ‘best integrated marketing campaign’, awarded for the 35th anniversary event held in June this year. The integrated marketing award is related to all aspects of the event marketing including social media, public relations and brand interaction in the lead up to the anniversary celebration.
The meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) were launched back in 2002 with the aim to recognise marketeers in the industry and to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry. The awards event held at the newly refurbished QEII centre has to date raised a mammoth £28,000 for charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN) which included the online charity auction in the lead up to the ceremony.
