The drp team has once again been charged with an ambitious project in the run up to drp's 35th Anniversary celebrations next year. The team will need to deliver 35 community-focussed projects that are close to their hearts, one for each year the company has been in business. The project has already begun in earnest with some of our CSR activities delivered already.
Each drp division will be asked to use the agency's skills and expertise in delivering award-winning communications to support good causes in innovative ways. These projects will run alongside our traditional support of key charities such as Springboard UK and MIMN (Meetings Industry Meeting Needs). In the Run up to Christmas, the drp event coordinator team has already run a food drive for our local homeless shelter and the 12th December will see a sponsored Christmas jumper day extended to the whole team.
Dale Parmenter, drp CEO commented on the CSR initiative and the 35th anniversary, "After our 30th Anniversary, our business transformed its approach to corporate responsibility and environmental initiatives. Each year the team have identified and delivered projects for extremely worthy causes and our 35th is an opportunity to take this to another level. We have some key activities planned already including a blood drive amongst the drp video team, a British Legion tea dance and technical support for numerous worthy events throughout the year."
The project will culminate at the 35th Anniversary event next summer with a reveal of the year's activity and some special surprises on the day for particular projects and charities.
