Dale Presents Cheque to Charity Meeting Needs

Dale Parmenter presented a cheque for £10,000 to events industry charity Meeting Needs on Friday 26th February at the annual M&IT awards, which took place at Battersea Evolution. A short video was played at the ceremony beforehand detailing the journey we have been on with Meeting Needs and the different projects undertaken.

In 2015 we worked closely with Meeting Needs on a number of fundraising initiatives. These projects included cycling 130 miles on a rickshaw across the UK to rowing non-stop for 24 hours in the ‘Ergo challenge’. The whole team worked together and raised £10,000 for an extremely worthwhile cause – the objective of Meeting Needs is to raise funds for worthy causes relevant to the events industry, with the most recent project funding life-changing treatment for more than 50 children in Ethiopia.

Dale commented “Meeting Needs is a charity that is extremely close to all of our hearts, not least because it’s an industry that we as a business are heavily involved in – but for the amazing projects and initiatives they undertake for those less fortunate than ourselves. It was a great honour to present this cheque to Meeting Needs at the industry awards on behalf of myself and the entire drpteam.”
