As the UK workforce starts to head back into the office, everyone’s priority is the safety of their teams. Creating a functional workplace where staff feel safe and are able to adhere to social distancing regulations should be the number one priority on every employer’s back to work list.

With live events and exhibitions on the backburner for now, our print team have been quieter than usual, giving them some extra time to get creative. In true DRPG fashion, they have been inventive with this spare time and are playing their part in ensuring the safety of those going back to work

The team hadesigned a range of safety signage and Perspex shields for both our own DRPG offices in Hartlebury, London and Windsor, and to help local businesses create safe working spaces at a low cost without the need to modify or purchase specialised office furniture.

Transparent acrylic and opaque foamboard screens can be used as protective barriers between desks and colleagues, and can be fitted to desks without the need for screws or detrimental alterations. The unique, sturdy design, which comes in two sizes or can be made to measure, uses brackets which hold screens firmly in place to create a protective shield that doesn’t impede communication.

As well as protective shields, the print team have also designed fully customisable signs and stickers that can be used within offices, including pull up banners, hanging signs, floor and mirror stickers and posters.

Richard Parmenter, group services director commented, In times like these, adaptability is key and its important to find opportunity wherever possible. It’s ideas like this that help to keep people safand will also help businesses control the spread of the virus in the coming months, which is crucial. At DRPG we are dedicated to the safety of our team and we are happy to be able to help other businesses to create safe workspaces as the UK’s workforce heads back into the office.
