Our clients HS2 Ltd, the company building Britain’s new high-speed railway, have had a golden success at the esteemed Communicate Lens Awards. The collaborative efforts between us both has resulted with victory in two significant categories and the overall win; Gold Award for Best Employer Brand Video; Gold Award for Best Use of Video from the Transport & Logistics Sector; and Winner of Best Video of the Year.

At the heart of this triumph stands ‘Katrina's Story,’ an emotionally resonant portrayal of courage, authenticity, and the pursuit of a more inclusive world. Crafted collaboratively by HS2 Ltd and us, the film showcases the remarkable journey of Katrina, a transgender woman, within the construction industry.
Over 30,000 people are working on HS2, and the film is part of HS2’s efforts to promote careers in construction, as it delivers Britain's biggest build. Work is well advanced on the new high-speed railway between London and the West Midlands, which will provide zero-carbon travel, boost railway capacity and support economic growth.
Katrina commented: “This industry historically has a reputation of not being a wholly safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals. But HS2 and its construction partners have strong ally networks that enable everyone to bring their whole selves to work.”
