To make employees not just ready, but excited. We were tasked with gamifying the lead-up to the campaign. Simple, right? Wrong. We had to push beyond the usual.

INSIGHT

People don’t want mundane. They want an experience. Arcade games? They’re fun, quick, and competitive. Perfect for shaking things up. We needed to make employees smarter about Direct Line’s services without putting them to sleep.

SOLUTION

The Game. We threw out the boring training manuals. Instead, we built an interactive arcade game that kept players engaged from start to finish. They drove through challenges. Solved insurance problems. Collected points. Learned. All in a fast-paced, environment that kept them coming back for more.

Competition That Works. What happens when you add competition? Engagement. We made sure every office had a live leaderboard. People competed. People got hooked. The stakes got higher. And the more they played, the more they knew about the upcoming campaign.

Mobile App. Bigger Impact. We weren’t done. We built a companion app - quick, punchy, and loaded with content. Short videos, internal stories, and campaign details. It kept the message fresh. No fluff. Just the important stuff.

Maximum Exposure. After launch, the game took over the intranet. It was inescapable. Visibility? At maximum. Employees couldn’t ignore it. And why would they?

 

 

IMPACT

63,000+ game views. 94% correct answers. The game was a success. One shattered expectations. Employees were more than ready for the campaign. And had fun while doing it.
